Traditional Yoga for Today's World

Imagine ... Feeling the body and the mind come alive

Yoga is a traditional physical and mental practice, rooted in India's earliest history. Taught in group classes in local settings, it uses the gentle power of the body, the breath and the mind to promote health and well being, improve flexibility and stamina and enhance relaxation. Smaller group classes are held in the yoga studio at my home. These classes offer the student the opportunity to progress and enjoy a more focussed and peaceful practice, with more individual attention. Individual sessions are also available.

  • This approach to yoga can be for everyone
  • It is adaptable for all situations, ages, cultures and beliefs
  • Importance is placed on the function of the posture, not the form, allowing for modifications to suit everyone
  • You work at your own pace
  • Taught in the tradition of T K V Desikachar

And it feels so good to stretch, focus and relax!

"The mastery of Yoga must not be measured simply by the ability to master the techniques of Yoga like asana (postures) and pranayama (breath control), but how it influences our day to day living, how it enhances our relationships and how it promotes clarity and peace of mind."
T K V Desikachar
